SHILLONG, Dec 27: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Monday appointed MP, Benny Behnan as senior observer for the upcoming 2023 Assembly elections in Meghalaya.

Ex-MP JD Seelam was also appointed as election observer in the state.

The AICC has also appointed MP Francsco Sardinha and MP, Dr K Jayakumar as senior observer and observer for Nagaland and Arvinder Singh Lovely and Abdul Khaleque, MP for Tripura, which will also go for Assembly polls in 2023.
