Both matches will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JN) Stadium, Polo.
The first match, an international friendly, will take place on March 19, with India facing Maldives. The second match, part of the AFC Asian Qualifiers Round, will see India take on Bangladesh on March 25, at 7 PM.
AIFF’s approval follows a site inspection conducted by Myndu Dorji, Match Commissioner of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), along with Abhishek Yadav, AIFF’s Competition Manager.
The officials visited Shillong on January 19 and 20 to assess the suitability of the stadium for hosting international fixtures.
