Arunachal: Car washed away by landslide in Pangin, passengers make narrow escape

Itanagar, July 29: A car washed away into a river in Arunachal Pradesh’s Pangin area after a massive landslide followed by heavy stream of water flow from the mountains.

The incident occurred at National Highway 513 at Pangin in Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The passengers luckily escaped from the jaws of death by their timely jump out of the car.

The whole incident was captured in a mobile camera and the video has gone viral.

Due to torrential rains for the last couple of days in parts of Arunachal Pradesh, massive landslides have been reported from various places of the state. Most of the roads are blocked due to the landslides but the district administration is trying hard to clear roads at the earliest possible.

Sources said many vehicles were stranded due to the landslides but, later, they changed their routes.
