Itanagar, June 11: At least four people lost their lives and five others were seriously injured on Saturday after the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Kemliko village along the Godak-Raga road in Arunachal Pradesh Kamle district.

The deceased killed in the accident have been identified as Longku Tad, Tagam Baja, Saiful Islam and Yamen La.

Meanwhile the injured have been identified as Baja Yekir, Ajit Tudu, Sagge Muri, Yugum Thapa and the driver of the vehicle, Pradeep Singh.

According to reports, the vehicle with passengers were travelling to Tata Sumo and heading to Itanagar from Daporjio where the accident happened on Saturday morning.

It is said that the accident happened between 8 to 9 am near Kemliko village.
