Must read

Itanagar, Aug 12: In an interesting turn of events, days after the failed attempt by NSCN-K(YA) insurgents to ‘infiltrate’ from Myanmar side of the border and fire towards the Assam Rifles post at Kunsa, the infuriated villagers of Kunsa village staged a massive protest in Kunsa village on Thursday.

The villagers held placards condemning the firing and lamenting the need for peace in the area. In a first, villagers burnt the effigy of Self Styled Major General Payong Konyak of NSCN- K(YA) blaming him for the incident.
