Arunachal: Three member police team left for Ludhiana to take the YouTuber in their custody

Itanagar, May 26: A three-member police team of Arunachal Pradesh has left for Ludhiana in Punjab to take into custody YouTuber Paras Singh, who a couple of days back had racially discriminated MLA Ninong Ering in social media.

The controversial statement of the YouTuber has sparked controversy in the Northeast and they are very much agitated after the statement.

Meanwhile, the Arunachal Pradesh police team that left for Ludhiana in Punjab on Tuesday is being led by an Inspector-rank officer – Techi Vijay, and has two constables of the Special Investigation Cell.

IGP (Law and Order) – Chukhu Apa informed that the Arunachal Pradesh Police team will reach Ludhiana by Wednesday and that Paras Singh will be in Itanagar within 5 days.

A case has been filed against YouTuber Paras Singh under sections – 124A, 153A and 505(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Paras Singh, alias Bunty, has been arrested by the Ludhiana Police on Tuesday for his racial remarks against MLA Ninong Ering.

At least 10 complaints have been filed against Paras Singh in different police stations of Arunachal Pradesh.

It is a very unfortunate incident, Ninong Ering, MLA from Pasighat West constituency in Arunachal Pradesh, was racially discriminated in social media by YouTuber Paras Singh.
