Guwahati, Jun 4: As per the latest trends, the BJP-led NDA alliance in Assam is presently leading in ten constituencies, including Guwahati and Dibrugarh. Union Minister at the now erstwhile government Sarbananda Sonowal is leading in Dibrugarh by of a margin of 74,659 votes as per available data at 11 am.
Congress is holding on to its lead in Jorhat, Nagaon, Karimganj, and Dhubri. In Jorhat, popular face Gaurav Gogoi is leading his nearest rival, Topon Kumar Gogoi, by a margin of about 42,000 votes. Former Minister and INC candidate Rakibul Hussain is leading by 131771 in Dhubri.
Meanwhile, AGP and UPPL, who are NDA alliance members, are leading in Barpeta and Kokrajhar, respectively.

11. Sonitpur – BJP Ranjit Dutta is leading by 99660
12. Lakhimpur – BJP Pradan Baruah is leading by 52270
