While much is not known, visuals from the scene showed damaged vehicles.
While the exact cause of the clash remains unclear, the clash took place hours before the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the date for the Samaguri bye-poll. The bye-poll is scheduled for November 13 and counting on November 23.
