Dibrugarh, Sept 5: Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday laid the foundation stone of ISKCON in Dibrugarh and participated in the Bhoomi pujan installation of Annanth Shesha.
Talking to reporters, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “I am fortunate to take part in the foundation stone laying ceremony of ISKCON temple in Dibrugarh. Very soon the mandir will come up here in Dibrugarh.”
The ISKCON temple will be built on 3 bighas of land.
Following the laying of the foundation stone, devotees were seen dancing to the tunes of Radhe Krishna.
