Guwahati, May 15: An Assam Police female Home Guard, posted in the Chabua Police Station in Dibrugarh district, was suspended after a video of her went viral on Social Media where she was seen hugging and kissing a famous singer during a concert.
The female Home Guard, Mili Prabha Chutia, was on duty during the “Basant Utsav” (Bihu Celebration) concert organised by Juba Eikya Mancha in Chabua in Dibrugarh district of Assam.
In the viral video, she is seen hugging, kissing and touching the feet of the popular Assamese singer Zubeen Garg. The singer was in the middle of his performance, entertaining the audience with his hit songs, when Chutia unexpectedly joined him on stage.
The act, captured on video, quickly spread across social media, drawing significant attention. Authorities suspended her after noting her negligence and misconduct on duty.
Social media is abuzz with discussions about the incident and the conduct of uniformed personnel during public events.
