Guwahati, May 31: In the seventh phase Lok Sabha elections, BJP Northeast’s key strategist Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has emerged as one of the key campaigners in Eastern India’s elections.
In the last 60 days, Sarma participated in 171 meetings and road shows in nine states. Himanta has been given the opportunity for the campaign in eastern India by the BJP top brass and he campaigned in all the 9 states.
Taking to X(formerly twitter), Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Over the last two months, I have had the privilege of traveling across Bharat and witnessing people’s enormous faith in, and affection for Adarniya Shri @narendramodi ji,”.
“This also allowed me to learn a lot about the beauty of our diverse cultures and languages. The wonderful people I met all along and their outpouring of love made my experience truly memorable, one that I shall savour for my lifetime. 4 June ko 400 paar !” he said.

Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who is the convenor of North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA) and known for making key strategy has become a star campaigner for BJP. In Northeast, he has taken many key decisions after taking the charge of NEDA convenor.
