Guwahati, April 9: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has decided to file a defamation case against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for the latter’s tweet on him.
In a tweet posted by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Adani, it had Himanta Biswa Sarma written on the graphics alleging corruption.
It was our decency to have never asked you, on where have you concealed the proceeds of crime from the Bofors and National Herald Scams.

The Assam CM has responded on the matter stating that he doesn’t want to respond to it now due to the preparations underway for the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Guwahati.
However, after his departure the Assam CM will take necessary action and will file a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi.
