Guwahati, Aug 30: Antrashtriya Hindu Parishad and Rashtriya Bajrang Dal on Thursday evening took out a protest rally in Assam’s Rangia in protest against the headmaster of a primary school for allegedly sexually abusing a 11-year-old girl.
“On August 12, the headmaster of 3 no. Lachit Bishnupur Primary school, Jinnatul Hussain, sexually abused a 11-year-old Hindu girl in Rangia. An FIR was filed in the same day against the headmaster but 18 days have passed but no action has been taken against the headmaster,” alleged Dinesh Kalita, president of Bajrang Dal, Rangia.
He further said, “Today, we took out a protest rally against the police for failing to take action against the headmaster. Within 24-hours if action would not be taken against the headmaster then on August 31, we will call for a 12-hour Rangia bandh.”
