Guwahati, Dec 27: In the early hours of Wednesday, at 5:53 am, Tezpur in Assam experienced an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 on the Richter Scale, according to the National Center for Seismology.
The epicenter of the quake was pinpointed 42 km east of Tezpur.
