Guwahati, Dec 30: The year is coming to an end and people have made their preparations to bid farewell to the year and ring in the new year with extravagant celebrations. These celebrations evidently include sumptuous feast, get together, and a dash of binge drinking along with other ‘necessities’, alteast for most of the younger generation. To compliment these celebrations on the eve of New Year, the Assam Police has also prepared a special food fest that has unique assortment of culinary delights.
While these cuisines do sound mouth watering, our advice would be to not try it!
Some of the dishes are: S.W.A.T. (Sandwiches with a twist), Breathalyser Brownies, Cuff & Cab combo, Momo Monitoring Platter, and desserts include Cuffin’ cakes, Custur-dy and beverages include Siren Sip.

Well, the menu is delectable, to say the least. If this isn’t enough to get your attention, then their curated playlist of superhit sings will surely win your heart: Aunty police bula legi (read as cut the volume. Party sensibly); Kaho na kaho ye aakhen bolti hain (read as Don’t do drugs. Party sensibly); Pehla nasha, pehla khumaar? (don’t drink and drive. Party sensibly).
This festive season, here’s some food for thought.
