Boko, May 9: In yet another successful operation, the Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police seized 420 grams of heroin from an Alto vehicle in Boko, Kamrup. The operation was led by Additional Superintendent of Police Kalyan Pathak.
According to an official release, the STF intercepted the Alto vehicle and discovered 30 packets of heroin concealed inside the steering wheel column. The two individuals transporting the contraband were arrested at the scene. They are identified as Kabel Uddin (33) and Sabur Ali (52), both residents of Goroimari village in Barpeta district bordering Kamrup.
The accused, along with the seized narcotics and the vehicle, were handed over to Boko Police Station for further legal proceedings.
