Guwahati, April 25: Ankur Raj Sarma, an emerging YouTuber from Assam, tragically died in a road accident near Sibsagar town.
The incident occurred last night while when his bullet bike collided with a stationary Tata Magic vehicle near the Darikapar NRL.
The tragic event has cast a pall of sorrow over the entire Sibsagar locality, deeply affecting his followers and well-wishers. The registration number of Sarma’s bullet bike is AS-03Q-7048 and that of the Tata Magic vehicle is AS-04BC-4585.
At the time of the accident, Sarma was traveling from the Betbari area on the outskirts of the town to Sibsagar town. According to eyewitnesses, Ankur sustained a brain injury in the incident. He died on the way to a local hospital.
Beyond his YouTube career, Sarma was also an active member of the BJP and served as the president of the party’s 189th Booth. Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of the 107 Thowra L.A.C., has expressed his condolences over the tragic loss.
