A small quarrel in school turned into a violent clash after a man belonging from indigenous community was badly trashed by a group of people from different community in Assam’s Barpeta district on Tuesday.
According to reports, under the leadership of Jawar Khan of Surpura village, the attack took place.
The victim who have bore serious injury has been identified as- Pranob Das, resident of Bamunbari village in Bhawanipur’s Barpeta district. Along with Pranob, Bikash Das, Mausum Das and Konjyoti Talukdar also bore injuries during the attack.
Meanwhile, police have started investigation to nab the culprits involved in the deadly attack on indigenous people.
