Shillong, Oct 5: Assembly Speaker Thomas Amphang Sangma on Saturday expressed sadness and grief on the demise of former legislator Noverfield N Marak, who represented North Tura from 2013-2017.

Marak will be remembered for his hard work and dedication to serve the people, Sangma said.

Commissioner & Secretary Dr Andrew Simons has also expressed grief and sorrow on behalf of the Assembly Secretariat.

At this time of bereavement, they have offered their deepest condolences to the family members and pray to the Almighty for bestowing strength to bear this irreparable loss.
