Shillong, May 2: The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) on Monday stated that the Corridor project from Balurghat-Hili to Mahendraganj Tura (Meghalaya) through Bangladesh has already been sent to the Railway Minister and that the Central Government has agreed to implement this project.

The Prime Minister of India had a detailed discussion with the Chief Minister of Meghalaya in this regard. As a result the Railway Board is working hard to implement this project.

The Chairman of the railway board said that there would be no shortage of money for this project.
