Shillong, April 10: The BJP-East Jaiñtia Hills District under the leadership of the District President, Commanderful Sana unanimously decided to extend full support to the National People Party (NPP) candidate of Shillong parliamentary seat, Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh.

This decision was taken during the party’s meeting at Community Hall, Khliehriat West, East Jaiñtia Hills on Wednesday.

Sana informed that the decision was taken based on the direction of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and it is for the interest of the District, the state and the country.

During the meeting new members of the party were also welcomed by the National Council Member, David Kharsati and the party’s former State President, Shibun Lyngdoh.
