Jowai, Sept 9: The body of a missing person identified as Ruhipaya Synnah (37 years) and a resident of Raliang Village, West Jaiñtia Hills who went missing since August 31, 2021 was recovered on Thursday.

The Body of the deceased was found floating on a pond belonging to B. Suchiang situated at the outskirts of the village.

The District Police have conducted an inquest and observed all legal formalities relating to the matter.

Later, the dead body was handed over to the family members after being identified.
