Shillong, Jan 12: BJP East Jaintia Hills Mandal received a big boost on Friday with the joining of the erstwhile 2023 INC MLA candidate Jhanika Siangshai and former headman of Tuber Kmaichnong and UDP leader Jiedlang Sana.
Siangshai and Sana were welcomed by the BJP state president Rikman G Momin at a function held at Khliehriat.
Others who were present include former state president Shibun Lyngdoh, Moina Sing Phyllut and office bearers and supporters of the party.
