Shillong, Nov 12: Continuing its journey along the Indo-Bangladesh border of Meghalaya, BSF Cycle rally reached the area of 110 BN BSF, East Khasi Hills. Pannalal Lakshyaraj Singh, Offg Comdt of the unit, welcomed the participants with garlands in the presence of local civil dignitaries, school children and BSF troops.
Enroute its journey the cycle rally was cheered by local border population and school children.
To make the rally more attractive, a cultural programme was also organised at BOP Bholaganj by school children and a BSF Documentary was also played by BSF to encourage youths to join BSF and serve the nation.
The aim of the cycle rally is to develop amity, instil a sense of confidence and to make youths aware of consequences of drug use and Border smuggling.
The cycle rally will proceed to Shillong on 14.11.2022 for their onward journey.
