TURA, Dec19: The officers institute for the BSF officers has been opened in Tura Sector headquarters in Dobasipara BSF base by Inderjit Singh Rana, Inspector General HQ on Monday.

The Meghalaya Frontier BSF inaugurated the Officers’ Institute HQ Tura Sector BSF in the presence of Dr Harmeet Singh, DIG HQ Tura Sector BSF.

The establishment of the new Officers’ Institute is an imperative accommodation facility for officers visiting Tura on temporary duties and it will provide a comfortable stay with panoramic view of Tura Hill and Tura Township of West Garo Hills.

BSF Inspector General also reviewed the operational, training and administrative preparedness of the Sector and its under command units.
