Shillong, Dec 23: Education Minister Lakmen Rymbui on Thursday informed that the Captain Williamson Sangma Technical University and Shillong Engineering College will be inaugurated by the next academic calendar.

Speaking to reporters, Education Minister informed that the Government has applied for the affiliation of the Shillong Engineering College with the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) and has been inspected and recruitment of the managing committee is in the process and the Government expects to inaugurate it within the next academic year.

On asked, Education Minister informed that the infrastructure of these educational institutions are 70 percent completed and they will soon be fully operationalised.
