Shillong, Jan 20: Dr. Natasha R Marak, Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the College of Community Science, CAU, Tura, was honoured with the Mid Career Scientist Award at the 35th Biennial National Conference on Multidisciplinary Approaches in Home and Community Science for Sustainable Development.

The conference was held at the College of Post Graduate College, CAU, Umiam, spanning from January 17 to 19.

Dr. Natasha’s research work focused on the ‘In vitro effect of Buckwheat incorporated bread on Glycemic Index,’ and her paper was selected for presentation at the conference. She shared her findings with an audience of 223 delegates from 24 states across the country.

The Valedictory function of the conference was graced by the presence of S Phangnon Konyak, Member of Parliament, as the Chief Guest.
