Shillong, Aug 22: India is all set to create history if its third lunar mission, Chandrayaan-3, makes a soft and successful landing on the south polar region of the moon on Wednesday, August 23 at 6:04 p.m.
Also, the landing may be postponed to August 27, an ISRO scientist said, while affirming that “no problem should occur and we will be able to land the module on August 23.”

Earlier, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) shared images of the moon captured by the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC) from an altitude of about 70 km on Saturday (August 19).

Chandrayaan 3 Moon Soft Landing: Date and Time
On Sunday, ISRO informed on ‘X’ platform (formerly Twitter) that the Vikram lander of Chandrayaan-3 is slated to touch down on the moon at 6:04 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23.
The live streaming and live telecast are scheduled to begin on August 23, 2023, at 5:27 p.m.
