Shillong, Nov 1: The Cherry Blossom Festival has created a huge buzz this year with the announcement of a lineup change that fans are sure to love. Originally scheduled to perform on November 16, Akon will now take the stage on November 15 due to unforeseen adjustments in his Asia tour schedule.
In a thrilling update, festival organisers have announced that Clean Bandit, the celebrated Grammy-winning pop group, will take over as headliners for Day 2. This will be Clean Bandit’s debut performance in India, and their presence is expected to elevate the festival experience significantly.
In a statement, the Cherry Blossom organisers announced that the ticket holders can attend the event without any increase in ticket prices.
“The anticipation for this year’s festival has never been higher, and the organizers are confident that this change will lead to an unforgettable celebration of music and culture,” said the statement.
