Christian devotees in Meghalaya congregated at the Wachigop Marian Pilgrimage Centre in South Garo Hills to observe the Way of the Cross, a solemn prayer service commemorating the journey of Jesus Christ to his crucifixion. Participating in this spiritual journey were parishioners from Chokpot St. Thomas Parish, Chapahati Parish, Dalu Sacred Heart Parish, Rimrangbra Parish, Tura Sacred Heart Parish, and other neighboring parishes, gathering on March 22nd. This traditional prayer service holds significance as it falls on the last Friday before Good Friday, a period of reflection and preparation for Christians worldwide.
