Tura, Jan 26: District Administration of West Garo Hills on Sunday conferred the life time achievement award to renowned historian Dr. Milton Sangma during the 76th Republic Day Celebration in Tura.

Recognising the achievement, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma announced ₹5 lakh as cash award to honour the contribution of Dr. Milton Sangma.
