Nongpoh, Sept 02: The Ri Bhoi Dorbar on Friday expressed their appreciation to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma for assuring to consider the demand to upgrade Patharkhmah Administrative Unit to a Civil Sub Division.
In an urgent meeting of the Ri Bhoi Dorbar which was held on Friday at Umsning, R.B Shadap, President of the Ri Bhoi Dorbar, thanked the MDA government for considering the long awaited demand of the people.
“The demand to upgrade Patharkhmah Administrative Unit is pending for about 33 years. It is time that the Administrative Unit is upscaled to a Civil Sub Division,”Shadap said.
