Shillong, Aug 24: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has been discharged from hospital following improvement in his health.
He had been admitted to Civil Hospital, Shillong on Friday after his health deteriorated due to persistent high fever for two days and symptoms related to Scrub Typhus and Typhoid.
Although he was discharged on Saturday after receiving treatment for his medical conditions, the CM continues to be under observation and is undergoing treatment at his residence.
A medical team also visited him at the residence on Saturday after his discharge and checked his vitals, which remain within the normal limit.
