TURA, Sept 6 : In a shocking incident, suspected criminals barged into a house in Megonggre locality of Rongkhon, outskirts of Tura, and robbed cash after tying up the lady of the house.

According to FIR filed with Chandmari police beat house of Tura, Somesh Marak and his wife Sabitre Marak informed that the incident happened on Sunday morning at around 11:30 AM.

According to the police complaint, two youth wearing dark shirt and pants, with their faces concealed, entered their house at Megonggre (Dachina) on the Edenbari road. They attacked Somesh Marak’s wife by tying up her hands and took away Rs 16,000.
“We have received the FIR and have started investigation into the case,” informed West Garo Hills SP V S Rathore.

The identity of the culprits remain unknown but the manner in which someone could undertake such a crime in broad daylight has raised eyebrows.
