WILLIAMNAGAR, MAY 10: East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Vibhor Aggarwal, convened a meeting of the Grievance Redressal Cell at conferences hall of Williamnagar Circuit House on Friday.

During the meeting, the deputy commissioner highlighted the need to convene the meeting of the cell as it has received complaints and grievances of the aggrieved citizens in the district which need to be looked into on time. He also urged the officers of the district to be proactive and to give due attention in dealing with the complaints and grievances of the citizens.

It may be mentioned here that the grievance redressal cell of the district has received complaints pertaining to various departments like PWD, CLLMP, NRLM, MGNREGS, ICDS, DRDA, Legal Metrology, MECL, Education, Medical, Tourism, Social Welfare, Fisheries, C&RD Blocks, etc.
