Tura, Dec 5: The District Commerce & Industries Centre (DCIC) in Tura has organised a Christmas Pop-Up Sale at its office premises of DCIC on Tuesday.
The Christmas Pop-Up Sale organised by the DCIC in Tura featured products crafted by the skilled trainees from Departmental Training Centres. The event showcased the creativity and expertise of individuals under the Master Craftsman Schemes and Rural Artisan Program, all falling under the purview of DCIC.
Diverse offerings were on display, originating from training centers such as the Cane & Bamboo Training Centre, Carpentry Training Centre, Steel Fabrication, Knitting, Tailoring & Embroidery Centre. Notably, a pop-up stall from the recently declared Bee Village presented a unique assortment of products made from honey.
The event was graced by Winje R G Momin, MCS Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Officer on Special Duty to DCIC. He also inaugurated the event, marking the commencement of a day filled with celebration and support for local artisans.
