New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the Delhi government would impose a six-day lockdown in Delhi from 10:00 pm on Monday to 5:00 am on April 26.
Kerjriwal said that Delhi detected around 23,500 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
pic.twitter.com/Px5Mg495KW

According to sources, the lockdown is being put in place to plan for oxygen, medicine, and hospital beds as cases continue to rise at an alarming speed.
“I hope we wouldn’t have to extend this lockdown,” Kejriwal said.
Essential services will continue to function during the lockdown. Food and medicine shops will continue to operate, and weddings will be limited to only 50 guests.
“A detailed order will be issued shortly,” Kejriwal added.
