Tura, Dec 18: The ABC Guest House in Wadanang hosted the Annual General Meeting of the District Football Association on Monday, bringing together association members and various football clubs from the district. The meeting was centered around discussions on District Football Association (DFA) activities, the dissolution of the executive committee, and the formation of new office bearers.
The session began with a welcoming address from the outgoing President of DFA, followed by the presentation of the activity report by the outgoing Secretary. A brief discussion ensued regarding the Secretary’s report, leading to the official dissolution of the executive committee and the subsequent formation of new office bearers. The meeting concluded with expressions of gratitude in a vote of thanks delivered by the recently elected President or Secretary.
The newly formed committee comprises a total of 17 members, with Saljagring M Marak serving as the President, Sengrak D Marak and Gamseng Ch Marak as Vice Presidents, and Gamcheng R Marak as the General Secretary. Other key positions include Newton Ch Sangma and Nancy A Sangma as Joint Secretaries, Dalmatheush Ch Marak as Treasurer, Ballam M Marak as Organising Secretary, and Sengbath Ch Marak as Publicity Secretary. Additionally, Chisreng Ch Marak, Selpring S Sangma, Rapsing Ch Marak, Manseng R Marak, Robertclive Ch Momin, Chinmoy Choudhary, Silman R Marak, and Gamseng N Sangma have been elected as the new executive members of the DFA.
