Shillong, Nov 9: Meghalaya Community & Rural Development Minister and MLA from Mylliem, Hamletson Dohling, on Tuesday inaugurated the Community Hall at Sanmer, Upper Shillong.

The community hall was funded by the office of KHADC under the central aid scheme amounting to Rs. 11 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, Hamlet said, “Community halls are a part and parcel of every community, therefore, as the local MLA I’ll try to find out ways and means in setting up community halls in every community of my constituency.”

He also urged all the village heads under the Mylliem constituency to collaborate with him in bringing more developmental projects to the constituency.

KHADC CEM Tittos Chyne and local MDC RV Lyngdoh and the village headmen were among the dignitaries present at the inauguration programme.
