Jowai, Oct 19: The KTK Outstanding Achievers and Education Foundation, New Delhi, has awarded “Bharat Gaurav Puraskar” to Dr. Dashwa Langbang of Shangpung Moosyiem in West Jaiñtia Hills for his contribution in Microbiology.

Dr. Dashwa is an Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Medical Laboratory Technology at North East Adventist University, situated in Khliehtyrshi in West Jaiñtia Hills district.

The award was given for his outstanding performances and contributions in the field of Microbiology and in recognition of his experience in the field of teaching and research at various levels.

Dr. Dashwa Langbang is the son of Bet Thoo and Syrpai Langbang.
