Shillong, June 3: Indian Army Children Adventure Camp commenced today at Shillong with an opening address by Brigadier Robi Kapoor, Commandant 58 Gorkha Training Centre.

Lectures and demonstration on health, hygiene and important life saving skills were a part of the camp organised for the children, followed by a cultural dance by students of KV, Happy Valley.

The children also took keen interest in the weapons display organised by 58 GTC. The day concluded with a visit to Shillong peak where the children got a Birds Eye view of the picturesque Shillong city.
