Dibrugarh, Nov 16: India’s armed forces have embarked on a landmark exercise to enhance operational synergy among the Army, Navy, and Indian Air Force under the Eastern Command. The 10-day-long tri-services exercise codenamed Poorvi Prahar, is being conducted in the strategic Eastern Theatre and will conclude on November 18.
The exercise, held in an undisclosed location, saw a dynamic display of ground troops collaborating seamlessly with Army aviation assets. Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH), Dhruv, and Cheetah choppers demonstrated exceptional coordination with the troops during today’s operations. This showcased the highest level of operational capability and readiness between ground and air units.
A central focus of Poorvi Prahar is to bolster interoperability among the tri-services, ensuring they can work cohesively in complex and modern battlefield scenarios. With the introduction of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), the exercise highlights the integration of cutting-edge innovations that redefine warfare.
The deployment of new-generation equipment, equipped with niche technologies, has significantly enhanced the forces’ operational efficiency. These advancements not only improve task execution but also prepare India’s armed forces for the challenges of the future battlefield.
