Shillong, June 19: Following the collapse of the Executive Committee (EC) led by UPD MDC Titos Chyne on Monday, Pyniaid S Syiem files nomination, after scrutiny of his post for CEM goes uncontested.

The Executive Committee (EC) led by Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Titosstarwell Chyne collapsed on the first day of session, on Monday.

This comes after after 17 out of 30 members voted in favour of the No-Confidence Motion tabled by NPP MDC Bajop Pyngrope.

Pyngrope said that the main reason behind this was that the CEM takes many decisions without consultation with the EC members.

With this collapse, Chairman of the Council Lamphrang Blah also said that the election to the post of chief executive committee will be held on Tuesday.

He also asked that nomination paper should be submitted to the secretary of the legislative on Monday and Scrutiny will also be held on the same day.
