Shillong, May 29: In view of the continued incessant rainfall and strong winds due to Cyclone Remal, over East Jaintia Hills District, all government and private schools, colleges and educational institutions in the district will remain closed on 30th May 2024.

This was informed by the Deputy Commissioner& Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat.
