Shillong, Sept 16: The Government of Meghalaya has appointed Ernest Mawrie as Adviser to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya for matters relating to DONER, Tourism and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department with perks and facilities under Category ‘A’ with effect from the date of assumption of charge.

Ernest Mawrie is the president of Meghalaya BJP.

BJP is a coalition partner of MDA government.
