Tura, Jan 25: The first ever BCCI test match was held in Alotgre Stadium, Tura on Saturday in which Meghalaya played against West Bengal.
The match is part of the Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy.
The test match begins daily at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:30 PM as it will span for four days.
To mark the historic occasion, officials from the Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) and the Tura District Cricket Association (TDCA) felicitated the BCCI representatives overseeing the match with traditional A’chik kotip, pandra, and mementos.
The visiting players from West Bengal were also honored with traditional pandra.
