Patna, April 05: Jivesh Mishra, the former minister and BJP MLA was dismissed from Bihar Assembly for creating a brawl in the House on Wednesday.
The chaos erupted after Mishra demanded an explanation from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the violence in Sasaram and Biharsharif. Since he was seen shouting slogans against the Mahagathbandhan while coming.
It should be noted that on March 31, 2023, a bomb exploded in a hut near a mosque, resulting in one death and several being injured in Nalanda district and Sasaram town of Rohtas.
Leader of the Opposition Party of Bihar Legislative Assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha also bashed the Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar stating that he was sheltering miscreants at Madrasa and are responsible for creating the riot.
Vijay Kumar Sinha said, “We have raised many issues but they didn’t answer. They crossed the limit when their Minister Mohammad Nehaluddin said that they are manufacturing bombs for self-defense. The government is making Bihar a city of terrorists. By becoming the shelter of these madrasas, the government is creating riots. And CM is saying that people have made a fuss.”
The BJP MLAs were arguing that the government failed to maintain law and order while the leaders of Mahagathbandhan were alleging that BJP conspired the violence at these two places.
“I have asked for clarification from the chief minister to make a statement on Sasaram and Biharsharif but the in-charge of home ministry Bijendra Prasad Yadav stood from the seat to do the same. It was not justified. We want clarifications from Nitish Kumar. Hence, the Speaker took one-sided decision and marshalled me out from the House,” Mishra said.
Four marshals removed the BJP MLA out of the assembly for creating chaos. These leaders then proceeded to stage a protest against the state government outside the Assembly. Among those removed from the Assembly was a BJP MLA.
