Foundation stone laid for community Health Nursing Centre at Sakal A’duma

Tura, Sept 26: Foundation stone for the community Health Nursing Centre, Tura Christian Hospital initiated by A’chik Heritage Pursuits (AHP) at Sakal A’duma in West Garo Hills, Meghalaya was laid on Saturday. Rev. Janang R. Sangma General  Secretary  (GBC) was the chief guest and laid the foundation stone for the community Health Nursing Centre at Sakal A’duma, West Garo Hills.

Associate Medical Superintendent, Tura Christian Hospital, Dr. Editha W. Momin, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Jedidah N. Marak, Chairman ADMC, Tura Christian Hospital, Dr. CB Sangma and land donors Poljonsing M. Sangma and his family were among others present at the function.

The Community Health nursing centre will provide basic medical care and treatment facilities to the people of the area and will benefit the residents of the surrounding villages comprising of Daribokgre, Baladinggre, Sakalgre, Sasatgre, Chandigre etc. who otherwise have to travel more than 20 kms to the nearest hospital.
