The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has initiated a search operation to locate the missing youths.

“We, a group of six friends, planned to have some light refreshments by the river. One of our friends suggested a bath in the Kundil River. While two of us stayed back, the other four went into the water and never returned,” a surviving youth recounted.

He added, “We informed our parents, who then alerted the villagers. A search operation was launched, and two bodies were recovered from the river.”
