Tura, May 30: The Gorkha Higher Secondary School, Tura jointly with the Gorkha community of Tura felicitated Anuj Chetry for his stellar performance in this year’s MBOSE SSLC examination on Thursday at the Gorkha School premises.

The school and the members of the community awarded Anuj with a certificate of honour in the form of a memento along with an amount of 10,000 rupees as a token of appreciation for his achievement and for bringing pride in the community.

The teachers, staff and students of the school along with the members of the community, parents and family members of Anuj were also present for the occasion.

Anuj Chetry, from Sherwood School, had topped this year’s SSLC results attaining 1st position in the state and through this felicitation program the Gorkha school also hoped that his achievement provides an inspiration for their students and the children in the community to strive for such excellence.

Speaking at the gathering, Anuj motivated the students of Gorkha school to work hard and inspired them in achieving milestones in life.
